Asphalt and concrete can reach temperatures over 140\u00b0F in direct sun, which is hot enough to cause serious burns!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A great way to gauge whether the concrete is an acceptable temperature for your service dog to walk on is by placing the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds.
